Peanuts is not consistent with Jon's aspiration of maximising shareholder value.
Nor does it reflect a realistic valuation which Karst have indicated is not where we are at presently.
Would Karst accept an early TO with a reduced valuation? I don't know but there are other parties that will contribute to the ultimate decision. From a negotiating point of view though, there is now considerable leverage following recent phase 3 success.
We will no doubt get to see the conviction behind Jon's statement that he will have SH interests at the forefront in the event of an offer.
I for one believe he will.
