POZ estimates are inhouse and FOB for $A90/t. They then quote current RP as $US129/tonne.

Figures made on the back of a napkin should be treated with big caution. YOu might as well trust the hack figures spruiked on this forum over the last 2 years.

MAK mentioned that they have a conservative OPEX of $A150/t in the January 2009 quarterly report. As yet we have not had a revision of this number. Factors that would drop this number down include:

1. It was based on mid 2008 Diesel prices
2. It has not come from a competitive tender
3. It relfects estimates derived prior to the contraction of mining industry.

So MAK are hoping to god that RP prices improve and that companies in the NT begging for a buck will low-ball a figure to get the contract. Until RP gets to $150/tonne, this project is IN THE CAN. It aint a goer.

That said......

On a personal note I hold because I believe we aint finished yet with the food crisis. GFC just postponed it and we will see the bubble happen again, but in a more aggressive form as the bandwagons flash up.
