I dont feel bad for Charlie and Management at all, this is completely their fault. They needed to prioritize uplisting to the NASDAQ and I have sent them emails reminding them of this monthly. They are over confident in their business and in my opinion didn't feel like uplisting was a priority. The problem is this isn't a profitable business and won't be for sometime, therefore they need access to a market that values BNPL, the stock would have increased and they could have borrowed or diluted at more favorable terms. Now it's too late, they won't be able to uplist without a reverse split and we will never see the value we would have if they uplisted months ago and got in on the action. This was 100% avoidable and 100% their fault, the arrogance is thinking they can just concentrate on building the business and everything else will fall into place, the most important factor to a company like Sezzle is accessing capital and they need an experienced pro, Charlie should step down into the CTO role and bring in someone that knows how to navigate markets for a new Fintech or tech company period.
I saw this happening months ago, and warned them, with their brand recognition growth they would have been rewarded on the NASDAQ. And lastly, their IR is garbage, they should be releasing news weekly, new partners, products etc, instead they have been on radii silence while we were in free fall.
