If in 12-18 months the annual distribution per unit is not circa 50% of the current SP, I will jump through flaming hoops backwards! For example, if I put $100k into MDT at the current SP, I can expect future distributions of circa 50% of my investment. That's a whopping $50k in distribtuions p.a.
Of course that's a very simplistic forecast of future distributions, but expecting 5.5c p.a. is hardly unbelievable.
As I have I said before, I intend to sell 50% of my holding when the SP reaches 15c, and the rest I will stick in the bottom drawer, and then just sit back and wait for my distribution cheques every 3-6 months in the years ahead.
Cheers.
