Really don't understand capital do you.
Lynas very much remains a company in development, upstream to an industry that looks quite certain to accelerate growth over a broad range of demand segments all based on energy efficiency.
When Lynas pays anything more than a token dividend it signals they've run out of opportunity to expand the business, which would be tragic IMO.
Having got so far ahead of anyone else ROW they have such an opportunity to leverage their hard won expertise from mining, processing, manufacturing product to dominance of ROW mkts.
Capital is FAR better employed within the business, particularly with the judicious Board & Mgt at Lynas, this can remain a strong growth stock driving the SP for years.
AL once told me she didn't think she could get the SP back to $27 but $6/7 was doable, well she's done that but won't be sitting on her butt paying anything more than token dividends.
