We know that WPL's Torosa field has a crest in the Plover formation at about 3890m with a GWC at 4600m with maximum gross reservoir thickness of ~330m.
Poseidon-1 is interpreted to:
- have a crest in the Plover at about 4680m
- GWC interspreted to be below 5112m
- gross reservoir thickness at P1 of 320m
P-2 is interpreted to have a thicker section of Plover, be deeper (down dip) than the Plover in P-1.
The planned 3-D will clarify some of this, but no OWC combined with larger gas-column means that if as I predict the aerial extent increases by >20%, and the reservoir thickness increases by >30% we are looking at 12Tcf.
My back of envelope calcs suggest:
Base case 7Tcf
Most likely 12Tcf
Upside case 18Tcf
Only 1.5km to target reservoir, I guess we will get an indication in a few weeks time.
