I'm not saying it wasn't disheartening to have that notice go out denying it, then 3 days later a CR pops up, but this is the ASX. It is disheartening, and you'd feel cheated in many parallel situations in life if someone behaves like that. This happened with DEG, and a couple of other companies I've experienced in my short 5 years playing on the ASX.

ASIC and ASX will pop that email in the 'Read, no action required'

Sorry, but that's the reality. As others say, they were protecting the strength of the SP at the time. No denial would have lead to a serious slide, and the instos picking up their shares for less than we did. I'm happy we got ours cheaper
