Well, let's face it, when you have FML trading at current levels with no immediate ability to rectify that without a control issue (that they have) - this was going to be inevitable, be it TGM or another company, it was only going to be a matter of time.
Also, with the combined companies having more than 12m Oz, wouldn't you think it'll be a big deal? Better to be in one car than two, also the dual projects add value to both companies.
The Germans got behind TGM for a reason, I've done my research on them and they don't back anything but a winning horse so I'm really excited about this.
