Current FMG short position becomes clearer when one looks at the chart - note how the timeframe referenced alters the picture - below are the 12 month, 3 month and 1 month pictures:






The 1 month shows flatter levels than the previous periods, so whilst short positions have risen over the year, the past month shows some hesitation in relative aggregate shorting positions. The rising share price over the shorter term appears to be causing this hesitation and continued share price strength may, imo, cause some increase in covering and a relative reduction in aggregate short positions over the coming 3 month period.
