Megaport "are a connection between services and data centres".
What does that even mean?
Could someone explain to me a company today that uses cloud services hosted on AWS benefits from megaport? What is the connections they are talking about.
i.e. today if I am a customer or a staff member of company A in Brisbane, and I want to use a SaaS system hosted on AWS, when I go to a browser, i'm dealing with a server in Sydney or wherever, and packets are sent over the internet between routers etc via my Telco. Who is using megaport, company A, the Telco, or AWS, and what benefit is it driving?
