    Hi Pridar,

    Sorry I have been tardy.

I know you have been on a journey as you received my 4 emails -replete with a repertoire of what I hope was useful information...smile.png.

May I suggest that investing/trading can indeed be a lifetime journey, providing you are prepared to invest time to develop your own approach.
We all have different objectives for investing:
    • Some may want the intellectual rigour of learning something new (an after hours escape from the boredom of their job)
    • Some may be wanting to augment their superannuation funds to support a better retirement.
    • Some may have retired and just want to remain mentally stimulated (and possibly make some money)
    • While some may be hoping to enrich the lives of themselves and their families.

Regardless of the reason, and primarily, as money will inevitably be involved one has to be assiduous in their journey.

Learning is the easier part - application is where we can fall down.

I am not sure if I have offered this to you previously but I sometimes ask new traders "what do they do for a living". When I explain I am asking as most occupations require some form of education and real life experience, and yet many think they can take up investing with no study. They may as well donate the money as that at least would be a worthwhile tax deduction!!

Anything in life worth pursuing will take time and commitment.

Now to address your specific question.......I was recently going back over videos and files on Moving Averages (MA) and indicators as I have been playing with different MA's and indicators simply to see if there is a one size fits all. My theory is that each time frame we inspect may well have different MAs to which they tend to follow. Still early days yet and it is simply a way to keep me occupied.

If you are still awake after this ranting, always happy to engage with you and feel free to reach out.

    V
