You're trying to talk reason to a guy who is 100% convinced that the GRR share price is fixed at 25x half yearly dividend amount, irrespective of iron ore price, cash on hand or anything else... so save yourself some breath, crack a cold drink and think about the dressing down his missus is going to give him when the old fella breaks it to her they sold their GRR before the bounce, incurred CGT, missed the payout and they bought some shares that spiked and then tanked straight after. Then have a little chuckle and get on with a cracker weekend forgetting all about it!
