Agree with everything say about Docklands. Although I don't live in Melbourne I wanted to purchase an apartment as an investment. Looked at the Docklands, didn't like it at all so I finally settled for Southbank. Purchased a place opposite the convention centre and across the road from Crown with views to City.
Only time will tell if I had made to right choice.
