As interesting as the update was, I am more interested to hear what Errington's response will be!! He's probably busy reading up on recipes on how to prepare the perfect humble pie.
The turnaround of Coles is no surprise to me at all. WES is absolutely focused on delivering returns to shareholders, as noted by dropping sales but improving EBIT at KMart. I don't think they would care too much about whether their sales improved by more than WOW either.
I reckon I heard a GULP come from Luscombe's direction this morning too when he opened the presentation.
