A friend received a telephone call from an ASIC representative this afternoon regarding her insider trading allegation re: BEPPA. ASIC told her they have received numerous complaints in writing regarding BBI's alleged lack of disclosure and alleged insider trading activity in BEPPA and have a case officer working on it.
Nothing will probably happen but they are at least looking into matters.
On my matter, Mr Kendrew and the BBI board will receive a Supreme Court writ in the next week. The damages claim details have not been finalised as yet but we are looking at a figure circa $1M plus legal costs.
