LIFX Announces Black Friday / Cyber Monday Weekend Sales
Growth in U.S., Australia and Europe
SUMMARY
• LIFX Australia has seen its most successful Black Friday/Cyber Monday (“BFCM”) sales
period, with unit sell-through growth of 79% over 2020, and 23% over 2019
• BFCM holiday sales in the U.S. were up slightly (up 1%) on a unit sell-through basis, but
this is a strong result given promotional discounting was materially cut back from prior
years, yielding greater net contribution margins to the business
• Amazon US sales were particularly strong, with LIFX’s top three promoted SKUs
growing 26% in November versus Amazon Prime Day month; LIFX Clean was a strong
performer with sell-through growth of 116% in BFCM over Amazon Prime Day
• Amazon Europe November sales were up 22% over 2019 (the last comparable period),
a healthy start to the European holiday sales period which culminates in Boxing Day
and New Year sales at the end of the month
• LIFX’s online retail channels grew BFCM holiday weekend revenue 412% year over year
in Australia, and 242% year over year in the U.S.
