If gold price is linked solely to inflation without also taking into account bond yields (which is what 99% of people in the game believe and invest based on), how do you reconcile the fact inflation is running at 7% this year and gold has gone backwards (while also showing an almost perfect correlation with ‘real rates’ - CPI minus ten year bond yields)??
this isn’t even a controversial or contested issue. You’re just being proud and stubborn and for some reason prefer to believe everyone else is stupid except for you
