Inflation rate is calculated by the block reward from mining. Approximately every 10 minutes a new block is created and 6.25 new Bitcoin along with it. Maybe... Been a decade and hasn't happened yet though. Over ten thousand other crypto's and the very first is still king. Makes you wonder if any will ever replace it. Was perfection reached in the first instance?
