make it watertight.
keep a logbook for all vehicles.
keep a dedicated office,never let a trace of private use intrude into it.
keep a seperate computer for family use.
keep all invoices and receipts.make sure all suppliers have bas registered,never pay cash--leave a trail always.
hardest dollar earned is the one that makes the tax department take an interest. i would rather miss a few borderline deductions than get audited--that has a big cost in time effort and professional help,and a bigger cost in missing out on making a living while fighting the big boys.and fines are not tax deductable.
