Imagine you’re an honest heart on sleeve poster, you say what you say and don’t have a hidden agenda.
When you see things the same of the popular kids it’s all good and well. When you start seeing things in a different light and share those opinions the cool kids start to not only distance themselves from you but also start to try and censor you or push you out of the conversation. A lot of people in this situation probably just accept it and walk away to leave the status quo in place, others try to continue the debate in a respectful and constructive manner, others get to the point were they get fed up with the cool kids and push back.
