Agree... except in a market rout everything could get sold down, including gold, gold stocks the lot as fundies and etfs scramble for liquidity Just MO As for the gold price in a recession.. if interest rates rise Into a recession which is a distinct possibility IMO.. then gold could remain flat and drift sideways for a year or so until all the fiat money printing catches up and people really fear a rampant rise in CPI.. just my view
