I think most people will get all the stock they want.
UK Department store Debenhams was initially floated at 195p, then saw a disastrous run, trading as low as 20p less than 18 months after the IPO...
...now who was the main private equity owner who cashed in at the IPO? TPG – our same friends who are attempting to flog the Myer deal at ~18.5x to the unsuspecting retail punter...the company did maintain a small holding in Debenham’s post the float, eventually offloading the block at 60p about 12 months post the float...hmmmm.....
