My post shows a snapshot of the state of development of potential COVID-19 therapeutics as part of the Coronavirus Treatment Acceleration Program (CTAP). As per their website, the CTAP program uses every available method to move new treatments to patients as quickly as possible, while at the same time finding out whether they are helpful or harmful. We continue to support clinical trials that are testing new treatments for COVID so that we gain valuable knowledge about their safety and effectiveness.
Many drugs have now entered into Phase 2 trials. There are many online covid therapeutic trackers you can verify this information with. Below is a list of some drugs already in phase 2 trials (i.e. ahead of BIT225 in the race to get regulatory approval).
