I think this is an excellent result.
To have a top lithium PRODUCER earning in means a lot.
1. they chose this over dozens of other potential projects.
2. they are to spend initial $12m on exploration, so they'll prove up the deposits quickly.
3. they have the expertise to move quickly into production. Even if by then they have 70% of the project, Kalamazoo would have 30%.
100% of nothing is nothing.
70% of some lithium proved would be pretty good.
30% of a lithium mine could be very valuable indeed.
