"Congo is a shorters wet dream"
What a ridiculous statement. Any overpriced stock is a shorters wet dream.
Not so long ago when LTR sp was near $2, short position was over 4%. It's only covered now to be below 1%. PLS short position has increased from less than 1% 3 months ago to nearly 2% now. AVZ short position increased from 0.51% a week ago to nearly x3 that now.
Obviously, geographic jurisdiction has little to do with shorting. It's the SP that's viewed as overprice.
