So was a certain little enclave in French Guyana in the late 1970s.

My money is on WA restrictions persisting even after vaccination milestones are reached; because as the weeks pass it is increasingly clear that these vaccines lose efficacy a lot faster than anyone expected.

And - despite the mother of all iron ore booms that would have filled the coffers of the state of WA- the WA government has failed to boost hospital capacity, given it is already almost fully utilised today, even before Covid inevitably enters the state.
