Morningstar has just released a report which reflects the reality of the slow shift to a "Green Energy Future". Investors in EEG can be reassured there will be plenty of demand for our liquids rich gas, peak oil won't be reached for around a decade yet. Then there will continue to be significant demand beyond ICE vehicles.
The death of oil has been greatly exaggerated, says Morningstar senior equity analyst Preston Caldwell in November’s Morningstar Energy Observer. “We project oil demand to peak around 2030, with demand decreasing only gradually after that,” he says.
