What a nice surprise to turn on my computer and read R next to Volt's name.

Its a great announcement for many reasons. It's helping to put Volts name out into the business world. When you begin establishing relationships with companies in a particular sector other organisations dealing with similar products begin to take notice.
Nothing happens overnight. I would imagine these talks with Urban Electric Power have been going on for quite some time. It takes time to foster relationships .
That is the benefit and advantage of having someone with Trevor's reputation . I know from others he has a good name in business circles. Volt is lucky to have him and one of the reasons I first became a shareholder in this company..
Whilst many here in recent times have been critical of his performance one can be assured that he is constantly in talks with other companies trying to bring success to Volt.
It is also worth noting that this deal which may lead to others would not have happened had Trevor not arranged for the acquisition of the Ukraine mine. The point that everyone appears to have missed is what this mine will do in terms of creating partnerships in the European region.
Whether people choose to understand or not is the FACT that volt has a producing graphite mine. One of only a few that exist in Europe.

Many, many months ago I posted one of the reasons that Trevor would have wanted to acquire the Ukraine mine would have been for strategic reasons. He wants Volt to position itself as major force in the Battery Mineral space. Announcements like today reaffirm why it was a very good asset to add to Volts portfolio.
As I have been saying for quite some time it's about laying solid foundations for which to build on .

Whilst we have been waiting to see evidence of this transformation, many have accused me of just being a dreamer who is out of touch with reality.
I am hoping with the last couple of announcements that shareholders begin to understand what is going on behind closed doors and appreciate the efforts of management to help establish Volt as major player in the ever growing battery market .

Consider this : The Alkaline battery market alone is worth 7.5 billion dollars. It currently comprises the sale of 12 Billion battery cells that will require 14000 tonnes of graphite.

If that doesn't get one excited about owning shares in this particular sector than I am afraid nothing will.

Well done to Trevor and his team.
