Agreed on Morningstar - not a compass I follow, and I believe it has a low rating among HC posters. The problem, in my mind, is it is all too easy to bask in the warm glow of other people looking after your hard-earned. Yes, Magellan was doing wonderfully three years ago. .BUT you would, in the long term, be better off picking stocks yourself. Even just three or four you fully understand.
