No what it will take is for a terror attack on australian soil a big one to shift public opinion on this - luckily the howard government in conjunction with the USA has doen the right thing by fighting the jihadists in iraq - and good aussie ASIO work has prevented an attack on aussie soil - that is why they attack aussies in indonesia cause they just havent got the support and ability to strike in australian and it will remain this way in my opinion.
