The guy has been playing state politics. It works for a while but not always. I am sure there are plenty of people affected and many businesses. WA is able to self isolate really as it is on the other side of the country with a very small population and people mostly go there for work. One of the blokes I work with his brother had to use up all his annual leave working on a Rio site as he was out of Victoria - just one example of peoples lives being inconvenienced because of Covid.
