Thanks for sharing. Interesting to know that it is possible to buy-out the business and not the corporate entity. I never knew that was possible. But what would be the ramifications for shareholders, because we hold shares in NUIX as a whole company (Business+Corporate)? And what would happen to the corporate entity? They need money to fight their battles, who's gonna give them that? Macquarie? Highly unlikely that the business will separate from the corporate entity. Although I like the sound of a takeover, this article does smell of deliberate false speculation.
For eg: EQT backed out of IRESS after due diligence, why the hell would they even look at Nuix? Due diligences are for exactly that! To fish out issues with the corporate entity and encumbrances.
