Check out any big growth company you'd expect to be running at a net profit and you'll see many running at insane losses (after acquisitions, marketing, etc). OPY isn't due to start running a profit for a while but that's not news. Yes, it's riskier than Commbank, but when wasn't it? I don't think they'll do a cap raise. They'll just be confident that next year the world will start to correct at some point. People are hoarding cash and governments will try to force that to be spent. Then again, high interest rates on credit can only be better for BNPL (for those who want credit).

arbphantom, But u also need to think about the shareholders. Even I agree with u that the OPY will be a profitable company in 3-4 yes time, vast majority of shareholders would leave it incurring huge loss. And those who would stick to it for such a long period might not see the purchased price.
