The SMN Board do not meet and have not met with the FAA weekly - or at all. The CVM project is being handled by Delta Engineering - unrelated to Delta Airlines and it is DE who have all the communication with the FAA.
If you contact Stephen Foreman he will advise that the latest they heard from DE was that STC approval was anticipated before Christmas - (this bloody year) and yes a bit peed off too as he is.. But it must be understood that the SMN board is totally at arms length to the FAA. All their business with them is through DE. And incidentally DE are the go-to engineering company for almost all matters engineering and the FAA by any company in the US.
