Only the Ulan mine owners would gain a good advantage ( Peabody's Wilpinjong mine has some advantages) and are thought to gain about $25 to $35 million a year by it. On an earnings basis set at 8% to 10%, Xstrata Mitsubishi could bid an extra $1.27 to £2.24 extra at no more long term cost to them.
