And of course the big elephant in the room that nobody is talking about for fund managers:
There portfolio is a function of pricing of the market.
If the market tanks 30%, whilst MFG might 'out perform' that will probably mean their FUM drop less than the market. but thats still a drop, which will blow all forecasts of earnings on those FUM out of the water.
