Why has ARU not done an offtake with ASM???
ARU boasts NdPr oxide production 2024, presumably on spec, steady state 2025 building to 4400tpa.
ASM boasts a Magic Pudding & a plan to produce huge amounts of mag metals basically at half price.
ARU can't find any oxide customers & ASM can't find any oxides, their $1.7Bn Dubbo project will only produce ~1100tpa NdPr anyway, once they get on top of an incredibly complex poly metal flow sheet.
Would it not make glaring good sense to contract ARU supply to ASM???
Would seem a given for Govt support, particularly if ASM leveraged their ultra low costs to value add in Australia.
If both were able to make their "low cost" boasts a reality they could probably displace Lynas feed to Japanese mag makers, instant customer base.
Why has this not happened already, why is Gavin chasing countries with NO mag makers, or metal making capabilities when another Perth company is boasting all the answers?
Does ARU not believe ASM glossies or ASM not believe ARU glossies, or likely both.
