Cons in paying early include
a. the lost interest on funds sent off early
b. lost opportunity to deploy funds elsewhere should a better opportunity present itself
c. if you change your mind you can't recall the funds
d. if the deal turns out to be a real disaster rather than just an overpayment for a business at the top of the market as is currently the case

Pros in paying early include
a. you don't miss out if the spp closes early

I think
a. CSL price is still high but it did go to ~ $350
b. despite a. there will be plenty of demand because there is plenty of cash around still
c. everyone will get the full amount they apply - the only reason that this would not occur is if CSL sp completely tanks

I only ever send money off the day before for spp's - never had one rejected so far.
