Scott: No worries, here a small raise that give existing holders the chance to top up at a great price. Oh and maybe some options would be handy.

80% of holders: waa waa, why didn't you raise at a much higher price.

Scott: So you would rather pay a 100% premium to what I offered, to avoid an extra few % dilution?

80% of holders: No - we want cheap shares and options, a high share price and no dilution. And no farm in either, that's giving away value. Oh, and we also don't like debt so don't do that. Also, why has the drilling not been finished yet?

Scott: ah, it doesn't work that way

80% of holders: what do you know? you are just a reservoir engineer.
