The SQ/Afterpay negotiation took 11 weeks.
Zip and Sezzle were trying to work out a deal last month, so let's say 4-6 weeks ago. Both Zip and Sezzle share prices have been smashed since then.
Even though people here hated the Zip/Sezzle merger idea when it was announced in the media last week, LARRY & PETER do think it's worth acquiring. They know what they're doing and think Sezzle is worth merging with. The only thing stopping this is the negotiation in price. Doesn't matter what we think, it will happen sooner or later. 4-6 weeks of takes is still early days
