The Jew's rejected our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ 2000 years ago (the messiah).
Today, we see this same story repeating again with us, the gentiles, with the great falling away from faith and the rejection of Jesus' commands. Many, even on this forum preaching doctrines of devils and vehemently clinging to the notion that we do not need to follow his commands (lawlessness) if you have but faith. You can even see their burning hatred towards anyone who speaks about keeping the commandments. By rejecting Jesus' commands you are rejecting him, effectively re-playing history. Sudden destruction is coming upon all who refuse to obey commands, which are written in your very mind and soul.

(1 John 2:3-6)
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they thatkeep the commandments of God, and thefaith of Jesus. (Revelation 14:9-12)
19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is thekeeping of the commandments of God. (1 Corinthians 7:19)
