My only question is

The board and directors would have large holdings themselves do they not?

So distributing the gains in the most tax efficient manor would also benefit themselves HUGELY!

So for all those saying its a bad deal and they aren't interested in finding the most efficient way for holders, that makes little sense to me because the board themselves would also get screwed over?

Happy for someone to clarify the above, but to me it appears its also in their own personal best interests to make sure this is carried out efficiently
