I don’t think there is any mystery to the Korbel main scoping study. Early this year management were hoping to complete a Korbel main scoping study ‘lite’ on the 4.7 moz updated resource by May. The authors of the study advised management to postpone the SS in the light of promising drill results that had come in after the update. Hence the wait till this weeks resource update. The scoping study to follow, will be more meaningful due to the substantial increase (4.7 to 8.1moz,) including 3 million inferred to indicated.

This is all in line with managements news releases, on line interviews and private correspondence.

RPM results were clearly better than anyone thought and allude to another big resource with higher grade. Obviously this can’t be included into the scoping study until further drill results firm up what they actually have there (drilling to start again in March or April). Chris alluded in the AGM that RPM potentially increases many options, including ore blending or even the possibility of actually making it the starter pit. However, for the time being, the scoping study will necessarily only include Korbel main.

Some investors may feel unsettled by these expanding possibilities, but I am reassured as they allow for greater optimisation and further de-risk the whole venture.

Market sentiment has treated Nva poorly this year (along with many other gold stocks), ignoring the staggering progress the company has made, and it’s potential for even more progress.

The tide will turn soon enough.

My sentiment is to hold long term.
