one of the stated reasons for the CHC/Paradice combo is for CHC to bulk up given the trend for super funds to hoover up ASX listed companies.
CHC would be a target as it would become a private business which the industry super funds seem to prefer as part of their private equity holdings.
As i dont have money in super i prefer to invest in large listed entities but i also hold some private equity funds as a balance.
