I believe you have confused MGF an investment trust, with MFG a funds management company. The two are entirely different structures.
If so, your comments are extremely poorly researched.
l have owned MGF for over 15 years.
l did not own 1 share in MFG until 2 weeks ago as the listed vehicle metrics were as extreme as the FAANGS.
Like the dot.com bust of 20 years ago, l find MFG now oversold but in need of restructuring and rebuilding of investor confidence.
At a prospective PE of 12 it is not extremely cheap but it is a very low risk bet from my perspective and risk mitigation is my principal goal in a wildly over priced asset world.
If you are going to compare market performance against fund manager performance in future, please try to use the same common denominator.
A stock, a fund and an index are pretty simple things to identify individually.
