Pls check the thread link I previously posted, which contains the post by magix66 of a snapshot from the ACCC website reference.

There is not enough information/too many alleged breaches of corporate laws by the UMC board for anyone to make an informed decision about the fairness of the BHP bid - and as a consequence the legality of it - and that is reason enough for some to object to the ACCC about the bid.
