Timemagazine, expressing the spirit of the rich and complacent, utterly indifferent to human suffering, has declared Elon Musk their 2021 person of the year.

Musk is the epitome of the most loathsome creatures on planet Earth: the pandemic profiteers, those who have seen their wealth skyrocket while millions of human beings lost their lives, because capitalist governments all over the world refused to carry out elementary public health measures in order to fuel the rise of the financial markets.

One of the many problems withTime’s narrative is that Musk’s fortune has almost nothing to do with production.

"Loathsome"? I don't think so. "Loathsome" are the socialists who don't understand that the wealth made by industrialists like Musk benefits so many others.
