Key take away, according to SMM they have made specific mention on consecutive days that IO demand is likely to increase in Jan and that the easing of environmental restrictions and maintenance ending explains this. Steel Mills in all important Tangshan however will remain restricted due to the blue skies for the Olympics- but these manacles will also be removed shortly.
Add in some more stimulus from the PBOC and we should see these prices remain &
potentially climb into the $130’s + soon.
