I've seen email responses from wbt to two of my friends saying the same. They did everything they could to release this as a asx announcement but the asx did not let them. Personally I think it was a tremendous achievement. But I think that once the chips are packaged and tested it I'll be an asx announcement.
Finally, I think the announcement today stating clearly that the directors excercised their options before the blackout period (till end of Jan by which time the options expire) is a very good sign, and hints to me there is a real chance of good news early 2022. Regardless these options are well in the money so I guess of course they'd excercise them.
