Mongolian Stock Exchange has three boards/classifications for the listed companies.
In total, there are 218 companies listed at the MSE including 31 fully and partially state owned enterprises.

Main requirements for companies listed at the MSE classification I:

The company must have operated in the chosen sector for the past 3 years and its sales revenue for the last FY must be no less than of 5.0 billion MNT or the net profit must be no less than 1.0 billion MNT. The market capitalisation must be 10.0 billion MNT or more and 25% of total shares of the company must be publically traded or semi-annual trading value of company’s share must be higher than 5% of total trading value of **promotion blocked**. The company must have more than 100 shareholders.

Main requirements for companies listed at the MSE classification II:

The company must have operated in the chosen sector for 2 years and it should have enough working capital for one year after the listing or the company's profit must be no less than 100.0 million MNT. The market capitalisation must be 1.0 billion MNT or more and 25% of the company's total shares must be publically traded at all times. The company must have more than 50 shareholders.

Main requirements for companies listed at the MSE lassification III:

There are no requirements for the duration of business operation, percentage of free float. Innovative medium & small sized companies with high risk or mining sector companies with exploration and/or operation licenses could be listed in this classification to offer their shares only to the institutional & professional investors.
